Case Study: Met Building

Met Building is an 85,000 sq ft, 12 storey new office development rising above London's West End.

The redevelopment of this 1960's building over ground and 12 upper floors with it's striking glazed exterior and highly specified, contemporary interior offers a unique combination of three wide open podium floors and nine tower floors.

The project involved creating a fully integrated lighting installation with DSi digital ballasts and Tridonic DSi smart sensors. To acomplish this, the sensors were designed into the infill panels of the extruded Aluminium, 2x39W T5, Semi matt LG3 compliant louvred, recessed, luminaires.

The scheme utilised DLN fittings and our unique Retino adjustable luminaire. The adjustable luminaire when set at its lowest position would comply fully with LG7 requirements.
